About The Owner
Pamela Walker is a Texas native with a passion for holiday and event design. With a bachelor's degree in business administration and a knack for bringing things to life, she created DAY – Designed Around You. One morning during fall 2020, the name came to Pamela while reciting her favorite verse Psalm 118:24, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it”, and the rest is history.
Pamela’s path to this business started on Christmas many years ago. During one holiday season, her mother wasn't feeling the Christmas spirit and didn’t even put up their annual tree. Pamela asked her mom if she could make a tree that year, her mother agreed, and little did she know that day, the news of her handcrafted tree spread through small-town Navasota like wildfire. People came and wondered in awe at her adolescent creation, and it brought them so much joy and ignited the spirit of Christmas.
Before her entrepreneurial journey began, she was paving the foundation with design in her daily life. Pamela used her creative skills to decorate her office lobby in the homebuilding industry for years. Pamela always had fun doing it and looked forward to decorating each season, it honestly didn’t feel like work but instead passion. Anyone who walked into the office doors would complement the designs and how much they enjoyed them. The president of the company always said how amazed he was to see if the current holiday design could surpass the one he loved the year before.
Pamela’s love for design doesn’t just stop at the holidays. She’s helped friends and family with birthdays, bridal showers, graduations, and many other marvelous occasions. The desire to design was always in her. Pamela can’t wait to create her next masterpiece designed solely around you!

Officially founded in 2020, DAY brings the holidays to your doorsteps, whether home or office we are there to create custom-themed holiday designs. All our installs are put together with you in mind. We intertwine your taste, inspirations, and desires into every intricate part of the design in the space of your choosing. Our satisfaction comes from your happiness and joy in the finished result.
